  • Trail Work Scheduled August 10th and 11th.

The Park City Fire District will be chipping wood along the Pinebrook perimeter, upper and lower Meeks, Spring, and Jekyl and Hide trails on Monday August 10th and Tuesday, August 11th.  As a result, you may encounter crews on these trails on these days so please be aware and courteous if you do.  The work is being done as a fire mitigation project to remove deadfall near trails.  If this test project is deemed successful and funding is secured in future years, the fire district may perform this type of service on other trails in the area.  Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

  • Aug & Sept Pinebrook HOA Board Meeting Schedule

There will not be a meeting of the Pinebrook HOA board of directors in August.  The next scheduled meeting is set for Wednesday, September 2nd at 7pm at the offices of Gorgoza Mutual Water Company.  As always, members of the Pinebrook Homeowners Association are welcome to attend.

  • FIREWORKS BAN IN EFFECT IN PINEBROOK

While Summit County and/or the Park City Fire District have not officially declared a fireworks ban in Summit County, the board of the Pinebrook HOA has decided to be proactive and declare a fireworks ban in Pinebrook effective immediately through October 31st, 2015.  The upcoming 4th of July weekend will be hot, and long-term forecasts call for much warmer than normal temperatures for the foreseeable future.  Wild grass has grown tall from May’s precipitation and has now dried out, making for a particularly dangerous situation.  ALL fire crackers and aerial fireworks are prohibited.   Signage has been put in place reminding residents of the ban.  Please pass along the information to your friends and neighbors to help keep Pinebrook safe during the holidays and remainder of the summer.  Thank you once again for your understanding and cooperation.

  • Vacasa.com Rental Solicitation

It has come to the attention of the Pinebrook HOA that Vacasa.com has sent a letter to residents of Pinebrook soliciting to include their homes in Vacasa’s rental pool.  As the association has stated many times over, nightly rentals of PHOA member homes is strictly prohibited!  Vacasa.com has been notified of the PHOA’s position on nightly rentals, and it is suggested that any PHOA member who received the notice to disregard it.  If you have any questions, please contact the PHOA through the website.  Thanks for your understanding.

(Please note, we are not speaking on behalf of the other dozen or so homeowner associations in Pinebrook, only member of the Pinebrook Homeowners Association.)

  • 2015 Spring Newsletter

The spring newsletter is now available electronically here.  A paper copy will be sent out this week as well, so be watching for it.  As a reminder, dumpsters will be available in the parking lot of the Pinebrook Park from May 25th to June 1st.  Please reference prior postings and the newsletter article for items that are accepted and what is prohibited.  Thank you for your cooperation!

  • WANTED: C-BAND SATELLITE DISHES

Actually, what the Homeowners Association wants is for any owner of a C-Band satellite dish (those who have them know what they are) to please remove them during the spring cleanup in Pinebrook in late May.  For your effort, you will be paid $50!  Please place the dish alongside the road and contact the Association via email before May 30th though the website.  The Association will arrange to have the dish picked up and disposed of.  Please pass this information along to any of your friends or neighbors who have this type of dish.  Thank you for your cooperation!

  • Summit County Hazardous Materials Disposal May 2nd at the Canyons

There will be a free HazMat drop-off for Summit County residents at The Canyons parking lot on Saturday, May 2nd from 9am – noon sponsored by Recycle Utah.  Please contact them at 435-649-9698 or at www.recycleutah.org for additional information and a list of acceptable items.  This is a great opportunity to dispose of hazardous items that have collected in your garage or storage area.  Remember, these items cannot be disposed of in the dumpsters that will be provided to Pinebrook residents at the end of May, so please take this opportunity to dispose of any HazMat items on May 2nd.  Thank you for your cooperation!
