  • 2016 Spring Cleanup Days

The spring cleanup days have been scheduled for Saturday, May 28th through Sunday, June 5th.  As in prior years, dumpsters will be made available to Pinebrook residents and located in the parking lot of the Pinebrook Park.  Crews from Gorgoza Mutual Water Co. will be chipping wood brought to the park with less than a 6″ diameter, so the event will be a good time to remove deadfall and winter-kill from your property in an effort to reduce fire danger this summer.

Please do not dispose of ANY hazardous or bio hazardous chemicals or waste, explosives, propane bottles, paint, medicine, etc.  There are hazardous waste collection days scheduled through the summer sponsored by Recycle Utah that will accept these items.  Construction debris is also not allowed.

Thanks for your cooperation.  Additional information will follow on the website and in a forthcoming newsletter.

  • Please Clear Buried Fire Hydrants

County crews have recently been pushing snow back from the roadways throughout Pinebrook.  As a result, numerous fire hydrants have been buried.  Gorgoza Water Co. has been digging out hydrants the best they can, but their staff is small and the number of hydrants in the service area many.  Please help them and help to protect your neighborhood by digging out fire hydrants if they are located on or near your property.  It only takes a few minutes and can make the difference in the event of a fire.  The recent fire in Timberline that completely engulfed a home was a sad reminder of what can happen, so anything residents can do to help will be much appreciated.  Thank you for your help and cooperation.

  • No February or March regular board meetings

There will not be a regular board meeting held in February or March.  The next meeting will be the general meeting of the homeowners scheduled for March 30th.

  • 2016 General Meeting of the Homeowners

The annual meeting of the members of the Pinebrook Homeowners Association will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. at the offices of Gorgoza Mutual Water Company, 7950 Pinebrook Road, Park City, Utah.

Matters of business to be discussed:

    • Presentation and review of 2015 financial statements and operating budget for 2016.
    • General update of PHOA activities and community projects.
    • Election to fill three, two-year term seats on the board of directors.
    • Discussion of any other matters of business properly brought before the board of directors.

Proxy forms and official notification of the meeting will be available as they become available closer to the date of the meeting.

  • No Street Parking Nov – May

Just a reminder to all Pinebrook residents that Summit County ordinances prohibit street parking between November 1st and May 1st.  Doing so makes it very difficult for the snow plows to clear the streets and motorists to navigate slick and snowbank-narrowed roadways.  In addition, please remember that section 9 of Article X of the Pinebrook CC&R’s also prohibits overnight parking on the streets “between 12:00 o’clock midnight and 10:00 o’clock A.M. of any morning or at any other time while it is snowing“.  Thank you very much for your cooperation during the coming winter months.

  • Utah Open Lands Silver Anniversary

The Pinebrook Homeowners Association recently received a letter from the Executive Director of Utah Open Lands which highlights a few of the projects they have supported over the years with donations from individuals and organizations like the PMA and PHOA (UOL Letter).   Donations to Utah Open Lands have benefited the area greatly for 25 years and hopefully for many more years to come.

  • November 4th Board Meeting Time Update

The meeting to be held tonight at the offices of Gorgoza Mutual Water Company will be at 6pm rather than 7pm for anyone planning on attending.  Apologies for the short notice!

  • November HOA Board Meeting 11-4-15

The next HOA board meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, November 4th at 7pm at the offices of Gorgoza Mutual Water Company.  Homeowners are welcome to attend.  If anyone has specific issues to discuss with the board, please contact the HOA through this website to be added to the agenda.

  • Pickleball and Basketball Courts Open!

The new basketball and pickleball courts have been completed.  While there is clearly more landscaping and additional amenities to install, the initial phase of installing the courts has been completed.  Please check them out!

It should go without saying, but please respect the facilities as if they are your own, because basically they are.  They were very expensive to build and funded entirely by your homeowner dues.  Any vandalism or destruction of the facilities must also be paid for out of homeowner assessments.  Please respect other users and keep pets out of the fenced court so that others may use the facilities as they are intended.

With everyone’s cooperation, the courts should be a valuable asset to the community for many years to come!

  • PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOGS!

The Association continues to receive complaints about the significant amount of dog waste left alongside roads in Pinebrook, specifically Buckboard Drive.   If you own a dog and take it for walks, be responsible, pick up the waste and dispose of it properly…always…it’s as simple as that.
